Hello,
29th May, lower Bavaria, ca. 7mm. Edge of a forest. Is my guess correct and can you say more about it?
Thank you!

I think it is Psila fimetaria. According to ShtakelbergÅ› key (1970, Diptera, Eur. part of USSR) it should have pale antennae, but I do not consider this character important.

Answers just one minute apart. Surely sets a new record for the site :)
You ask for more information, there's a provisional online key at http://www.microp...o/node/235 and descriptions of the species at http://micropezid...my/term/83
Good hunting

Thank you for the ID and the interesting links! I didn't notice the spectacle shaped markings until now, quite pretty fly!
