Hello,
29th May, lower Bavaria, ca. 7mm. Edge of a forest. Is my guess correct and can you say more about it?

I think it is Psila fimetaria. According to ShtakelbergÅ› key (1970, Diptera, Eur. part of USSR) it should have pale antennae, but I do not consider this character important.

Thank you for the ID and the interesting links! I didn't notice the spectacle shaped markings until now, quite pretty fly!
