Hello,

Is it possible to know the species of this Stratiomyidae larvae ?

Found under the fallen leaves in a forest area. Lenght : 14 mm
South of France, 30 november 2019

My feeling is that this is a Sargus larva, possibly bipunctatus. The final instar larvae have large lateral lobes on the head, but the penultimate instar's head is shaped just like this.
