Hello Helge,

very nice drawings. I haven't seen this before. May i ask where you foud it?
I use Dr. Rognes material to learn about Calliphoridae. However, i discovered the difference in size of the frons by having male specimens of both species. I noticed the size difference immediately. I had to check the material of Dr. Rognes to see if he mentions it. He does mention it in his decription but i didn't read the description of gentilis until after i had identified it.

Anyway, i have documented male and female of viridicyanea and gentilis. The females also have a difference in size of the frons but it is much more difficult to judge in a photo.

Best wishes,
John
