Hello,

I found this beautiful fly on the shore of a lake. If my research is correct, this should be a Ulidiidae of the genus Euxesta. Due to the narrow black band near the wing base, I think it might be a male Euxesta notata. Is this correct?

Date: 18.05.2019
Location: Germany, Rheinland-Pfalz, Lk Alzey-Worms, on the shore of the Heinrich-Talaue-See, MTB 6216/NW

With kind regards,
Kathrin
