Hello,
On October 17, 2019 in the south of France.
This small fly, 2 mm long, got caught in the web of a spider Araneus diadematus. Its legs are very long but half of them are stuck in the wires.
Is it possible to determine a gender?

Female in supertribe Cecidomyiidi. They often perch safely on spider webs but this one appears stuck.

Thank you very much John,
Indeed, this one was not as good as its congeners :o
