Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Gastrolepta with apical scutellar bristles?

Hi,
I have a question regarding Gastrolepta anthracina. The literature says that it lacks apical scutellar bristles, but I have a few specimens that I identified as G. anthracina and they have very small crossed apicals (see picture below). Are these too small to be considered true apicals?

Well, it is clearly Gastrolepta.
Start investigating thr male genitalia, maybe you have a second species on the Iberian peninsula (wouldn’t be the first time )
