Hello,
yesterday on a meadow near a forest (northwest Germany) I encountered my second
Cylindromyia ever. Unfortunately the photos are not very good, but better than those of
my first one. Every time I tried to get near to take a picture with the macro lens, the fly flew off and landed on the next marguerite two meters away... :| The fly measured about 10 mm. Is it possible to tell the species (or group of species)? I'm afraid, not...
