SW France today. Body size about 6 mm.

Found on a hydrangeas leaf, quiet under the sun.

I was pretty confident in this species, but I am told it could be P. albifrons.

What do you think ?

Hello there,

Sorry to bother you again with my little reddish hoverfly, but we haven't got any P. albifrons recorded in the galery yet and wouln't want to make a mistake.

Any advice would be most welcomed.
