Hello, this little one ~6mm was perching and watching everything with attention - and thus it reminded me of robberfly behaviour. Would someone be able and help who is this fascinating little one?
Found on 17-August-2019 near Worms, Rhineland, Germany, in a nature reserve established in an old limestone quarry on an open meadow with many native flowers, thistles, centaurea, etc.
Many thanks and regards,
Stella

The family is Sciomyzidae - if you put that in the title, you should draw the attention of people who can help you.
