Hello,

these photo are from April 12, taken at our garden pond in Hannover, Germany.
Is it possibly Parydra aquila?

The vertical bristles (beside the top back corners of the eyes) are too long for aquila, and the facial profile is wrong for Parydra. In fact I think this is actually a Pelina species - probably aenea
