Thank you Iain.
Any suggestion to further this request.

Anyone who can help me with a key of Kowarzia species.

(Only Kowarzia bipunctata is listed so far for the Netherlands, but several others occur in neighbouring countries (source Fauna Europaea) and may be potential for our region such as K. barbatula, K. tenella, K. plectrum, K. madicola and K. tibiella.)

Hello Jan,
I suppose most species are in "Keys to the Insects of the European Part o the USSR" under the genus Clinocera. If anyone has a more recent key, I would be interested as well :-)

Just a few of the species you mentioned are in iT.

Thank you Jan-Willem en Niels-Jan for the links and suggestions.
This gives a change to come nearer to species identification.

I wil try to check with Collins Empididae British Flies fig 314 a en c

The yellow legs and form of the surstyles may give a conclusion

I got in the meantime a copy of the page Collin 1961 fig 314 c
which is matching with the specimen and is Kowarzia bipunctata
