Found this fly near river in dense vegetation.
Southern Sweden 2019 08 09
Geomyza or something else?
Possible to id?

Looks like a female of
Geomyza balachowskyii. I can not entirely rule out
G. hackmani, but that species NORMALLY has a dark postscutellum and a dark abdomen. To be entirely sure you should study sternite 8.

Unfortunately not, sternite 8 is retracted, so not visible here.
