Berlin - June 2018 - 3mm

I have keyed this to flava/montana and montana is not recorded for Germany. I also have pallida verified via genitalia. As far as i can see, flava is supposed to have 4ac, which is depicted in my photo attachment. I cannot find but a few photos of it online, so a confirmation will be nice. I think that i am correct but i am not an expert. I don't know what it is supposed to look like and the description is a bit vague. I appreciate the help.

Thank you,
John

Obviously you are correct. S. flava should have a small supernumerary orbital seta. Female can be distinguished by rectangular (blunt ended) ovipositor lamellae - see the picture at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scaptomyza_flava
