Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Medina luctuosa?

Hi, I identified this female as Medina luctuosa. On the left fore tibia it has 2 posterior setae, on the right fore tibia it has just 1 posterior seta (but the knob of the haltere is dark and the band of dusting is interrupted). Ventral sides of tergites 3 and 4 without areas of dense small spines and tergite 7 without a strong notch. Do you agree?

Despite your great effort, it is hard to judge the genitalia.

It is indeed either luctuosa or separata. The lateral shot of the genitalia tends to separata, but the posterior view definitely tends to luctuosa.
