Berlin - July 2019 - female - 8.5mm

Hello everyone, i found this attracted to light at my balcony. I have Thereva nobilitata male and female but this looks different. I try to use Haarto and Winqvist to match the frontal callus but it isn't working very well. Any suggestions?

Thank you. :)

thorax. interesting. I am having trouble reading this because it looks like 1 dc and 2 ia. Maybe i am not seeing it correctly. Perhaps it is just nobilitata.

Definitely 2 post DC.
SO no nobiliata.
The tibiae look very yellow, may be the flash (?).

It is not golden enough for handlirschi, which is more typical of August anyway.

So I am as lost as you are.

Hi! nice one!
can you comment on the colour of halter and halter knob?
The angle of the pictures are not good to see these.

thanks for the comments!

Hello Theo and Jonas,

My apologies to both of you. I am very sorry for not noticing the replies. I've been busy lately and i just didn't notice. I figure everyone is in the field this time of year. Again, very sorry. I feel bad about it. :|

I will add some more photos soon. I'm going to get my external drive and look through my photos. I will add photos of the legs and the haltere if i can see it. I have a specimen so i can always revisit this page. I must admit that i am definitely lost with this one. I appreciate the help very much.

I will return with more photos and info...

lateral view with crop of haltere. knob seems to be grayish with a dark base. smoky i guess. maybe flash hurts the true color?

I know very little about Therevidae so i don't want to make a fool of myself :) but i was wondering if it could be Thereva inornata female? i don't have enough info abut Thereva so it's just a guess. Sorry if i am way off.
