Found in the outskirts of Paramaribo in Suriname. Am I correct to assume these are Limoniidae? Is a further ID possible?

Yes, Limoniidae. Few details including venation are visible, cell d apparently closed, R2+3+4 short, r-m close to the fork of R, merons small, so I'd say
Gnophomyia.
