Hello,
this specimen comes from Valencia (Spain), and it was in an Achillea filipendulina inflorescence in a garden close to orange tree fields and mediterranean shrubland, at 5 Km from the sea. Does anybody knows the species? If special characters are needed I have the specimen.
Thanks and sorry for the quality of the image.

I think the only
Odontomyia-like soldierfly that can have an (almost) entirely green abdomen is
Oplodontha viridula...

Thanks a lot Paul!,
I was watching later more specimens in the same locality, with the abdomen with the usually typical dot on the upper side of Oplodontha viridula. It seems that is this species.
