This specimen was sweep-netted in a steep rocky hillside dominated by old pines and aspen, ca 260 masl in Møre og Romsdal county 2nd June (a bit north of the previous Bothria records of Norway). When using the key of Tschorsnig and Herting I arrive on a female Bothria subalpina. It was difficult to get on photo with flash, but r-m, m-cu and post angular wein was strongly infuscated (and contrasting to the rest of the wing), though not mentioned as a criteria in the above key. Body length ca 9mm (dead specimen).

I have no experience of judging this genus from before and would appreciate any help on it. It is collected (and if you are answering, Theo, I can send it with the one I have promised you from another thread: https://diptera.i...d_id=87146). Several angles possible.

Cheers Jørn

Edit: PS: Its host, Cosmia trapezina, is common in these surroundings.
Edit2: I have added i side view, showing concave upper 1/3 facial ridges, and I have concluded with subalpina.
