Found 24th of May, at the shore of the river Rhine, mid Netherlands. Ephydridae? Perhaps Notiphila stagnicola ?

Difficult to be sure of the colour of the face (silvery-white in
stagnicola), so I'd be inclined to call it
Notiphila species. If you have the specimen, I may be able to put a name to it.
