such a slender abdomen with visible genitalia excludes Muscidae. So, Anthomyiidae. maybe Hylemya? I forget alot about this family. I've been recovering from surgery and i need to refresh my memory. sorry. I think that it could be Hylemya.

With plumose arista and pale legs, probably Hylemya.

Thanks, John. I am rusty. I am happy that you could weigh-in on the matter.

Meantime, i found notes/keys from Nikita regarding Hylemya and it appears to me that Hylemya nigrimana is a better match because of the yellow/orange F2/T2 and F3/T3. Still, you should wait for the opinion of an expert to approve this id. I am rusty :)

Hylemya cf nigrimana
