At high altitude ?

Did you consider genera like Masistylum / Masistyloides ?

The altitude is low 600 m.
Masystylum I have it in collection, it's something else.
I'm looking for info about the genus Ceratochaetops

Ah ! Could you please make a dorsal oicture ?

Male Ceratochaetops have a very narrow central line of adpressed hairs on tergites, similar to Clemelis. That should be a vig clue.
The vertex shoukd be extremely broad.

The vertex is broad, but the central line of pressed hairs is weakly visible and depends on the angle of vision.
I have no description of this genus and keys to separate the two species.

Yes, very nice indeed. Ceratochaetops it is.
There are two - very similar - species.
You don’t have Mesnil in Lindner, I guess ?

(genus is hidden under Nilea)

Could we get a closeup of the scutellum ?
Idem the head in frontal view ?

Are the fore claws as long as last tarsal segment, or only half its length ?
