Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Scathophaga stercoraria?

Hi,

yesterday, 2019-04-28, I observed a yellowish fly sitting on a dark one, which obviously was not amused ... The yellow one should be Scathophaga stercoraria, right? The dark one, well ... I do not know.

Germany, Northwest, near Oldenburg, at a meadow.

Yes, the dung fly is Scathophaga stercoraria, and its prey appears to be a Calliphora species, probably C. vicina
