Hi,
is it possible to ID the species? April, Vienna

Yes that looks close. But what about e.g. L. flavipes - very similar appearance

You are right.
Limonia flavipes is quite similar and it is difficult to distinguish between flavipes and hercegovinae.
I used Peeters and Oosterbroek key:

This point:

The femur of hercegovinae has one dark ring.
The femus of flavipes with faint dark ring.

In this photo there is first hercegovinae then flavipes and then Vienna specimen.
I think there is one dark ring also in Vienna specimen.
But not 100% sure.

Thanks Esko,
I went through my shots in I think the leg ring is right for L.h., if the published discrimination is a reliable feature.
