The colouration of scutellum is unreliable. Excavation is incomplete, so this should be obscura. Genitalia are different, aslo in females.

The excavation on syntergite 1&2 (the first visible tergite) does not reach the hind margin of the syntergite. It does in assimilis and grandis.
