Hello,

beginning in November there appeared lots of tiny Calliphora in and around our wintergarden (northwest Germany). They measured only about 5-7 mm (males and females). I assume they hatched somewhere there. The "invasion" lasted from early November until Christmas, with not so many animals at the end of the period. All pictures shown here and in later posts were taken between Nov., 11, and Dec., 25.
I am not sure, if these flies are Calliphora vicina, as I have difficulties correctly identifying the basicostae on the photos...

Some photos are rather big, so I uploaded them on my own server.
I start with some males. Pics with the same numbers show the same individuals.
