Many thanks Theo. I'll wait to hear more after your meeting. Sorry, no specimen, though I may go back to that part of Sardinia another time, as it was stunning and rich for wildlife of all kinds! The same clump of Sea Holly yielded a nice tachinid, Cylindromia rufifrons: https://diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?thread_id=88885 plus a Dwarf mantis, a stunning parasitoid wasp Leucospis gigas and lots of other wasps and Butterflies.
