Is this Largidae?
6 December 2012, beside Lake Titicaca, the Bolivia side.
ID help will be appreciated!

Thank-you, Paul. A friend who is a Mirid expert (close enough?) agrees with you that this is Lygaeidae. Now I just need to find an expert in that family, to see what further ID is possible.
