Found among reeds by chalk Stream. 19/7/2018. England. ID please.

Probably Euthycera fumigata.

No other view I guess? look like a Psacadina or Pherbellia to me. Just a guess from the few we can see of the wings

Sorry I do try to get other photographs of other views of the Diptera, but was unable to do so in this case. B) In the two genus you mention, the eyes look plain.

It's not Pherbellia, which has drooping antennae with short pedicel.
