I photographed this Culicidae at Magliano Alfieri, Piedmont (Italy) at 300 mt above sea level, on October 230h, 2016. Is it the common
Culex pipens?

Not certain, but could be
Ochlerotatus punctor.

No. The other possibility is a
Culex species. Have you got any more photos from different angles?
Looking at the abdominal markings, I'm more inclined to think
Culex now.
