Hello there,
I live in southwestern France and found last month a group of little flies on putrefying honey fungus. Could this one be a male of
Drosophila simulans ?

Too little can be seen. I would rather say a Drosophila s. str., considering this picture alone.

Many thanks Jan, |t
I have a dorsal view actually, but I am not sure it is the same individual.

D. immigrans. Even in the first picture nothing contradicts to this ID.
