The attached image was taken on July 7, 2018, in the protection area "Duene Pferdstrieb" in Sandhausen, German. Several individuals of this fruit fly were detected on Jurinea cyanoides in this sand biotope. It has been published previously by Korneyev (2009) that Chaetostemella rossica can be found in Sandhausen.
Can someone confirm whether the attached photo really shows (a female) of C. rossica?
Thanks, and best regards, Peter
