Should be a male
Eristalis (Eristalis) sp., given the closed R
1 cell and sinuous R
4+5 vein, among other things. The primary character to distinguish from
Palpada is not visible here, but it looks very similar to some of the
Eristalis (Eristalis) sp. we have in NA.
