Hello,

I observed this Diptera this morning in north of France. I think of a female of Neomyia ? Maybe Neomyia viridescens ?

Cordially maxime

A female Neomyia it is, the shiny green frons is typical. Now it becomes difficult. If there is a pair of presutural acrostichal bristles, it is N. cornicina. If there are no presutural acrostichals, it is N. viridescens. I think there are ps ac, at least in the upper picture there is something visible. So I tend to N. cornicina.
Regards, Sundew
