Northern Germany, Schleswig-Holstein, Schenefeld near Hamburg, hedge with a drainage ditch between two meadows with bushes like Corylus, Alnus glutinosa, Humulus, Betula and other, at a leaf of Humulus sp., 11th of June 2018, Outsidephoto: kuv (only these two pictures). Among the pictures of Myopa in the Diptera Gallery I couldn't find it. Please help me to get the ID.

Looks very much like Sicus ferrugineus. Could it be this species?

Hello,

sure, that it is ferrugineus? There are other, not so abundant species in the genus Sicus.

Hi Jürgen, I think that this is S. ferrugineus but I'm not an expert. I would be glad if somebody will correct me. So I'll write "cf.". Perhaps I then got a different name of the fly ...
