Is it possible to tell Family and genus of this small Hymis on Betula
Photo from 10 October 2018 Kramfors 62 N, E 17 Ã…ngermanland, Sweden.

Hi Kurt,

it belongs to the super-family Cynipoidea, maybe Cynipidae. But I'm not familiar with this group. Maybe you've seen some galls on the birch tree to get a hint?

Cynipoidea yes, but rather Figitidae

From what I can see, this should be a female Xyalaspis petiolata.
