Hi,
I would like to identify this fly photographed on October 12th in the suburbs of Paris (forest).
Long.6-7mm.
Is it a Muscidae and which species/genus could it be?

Hello,
nice pictures, but few diagnostical characters visible (wing venation, thorax setae etc.). Maybe therefore the experts hesitate to reply...
