Hi,
Eleven years ago I posted a female Rhamphomyia with broad dark wings and feathery legs (https://diptera.i...ad_id=9143). The pictures were bad, as I used my son's small pocket camera at that time. Paul suggested Rhamphomyia erythrophthalma, but the pictures I found in the internet looked rather different to me.
On 11. September 2014 I saw the fly again and got somewhat better pictures. So I would like to show it again, because it is a quite impressive fly. Couldn't it belong in subgenus Pararhamphomyia? Any ideas?
Many thanks, Sundew
