Hello Sundew,

I think that your determination is correct. Everything matches well with H. pertusa. I have both male and female specimens for consultation. The arista seem to be pubescent, which also matches H. pertusa. The row of dense hairs on the hind femur is diagnostic with this species. Helina can be quite variable, so mastering this genus is very difficult. I think that Muscidae are difficult for everyone but you do well with them.

I don't know if you collect specimens but i'll attach a photo of mine which depicts the male genitalia of H. pertusa in dorsal and lateral view.

maybe Nikita will confirm it for you if you wish to have the opinion specialist. I don't know when Stephane will return.
