Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Small fly with green metallic sheen

Hi,

This small (3-4mm) fly has been photographed mid-August on the edge of a pond (mud).
Loc. Chambourcy, 20km West of Paris.
Any idea of its identity? Thanks for your help,
