Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Small grey fly

Hi,

I'd like to identify this small (about 4mm) photographed at the beginning of August in Saint-Germain-en-Laye (near Paris).
On the edge of a forest pond.
Any idea of its identity/family? Unfortunately I have no other view of the fly.
