Hi,

This Choerades specimen was collected in July at Botkyrka, south of Stockholm, Sweden. Using the new german robberfly book, I end up at C. femoratus, which would be a first for the province of Södermanland. I find the white coloration of the facial hair and the length of the first antennal segment in relation to the second segment to be distinctly different in comparison to the four specimens of C. marginatus that I have in my personal collection.

Comments on the ID would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Petter
