I observed this
Tachina
the 20th of August in Calais in the north of France. Is it a
Tachina fera
?

A clear male T. magnicornis.

Be on the lookout for weird Peleteria, around Calais. Check Mentha sp. flowers. Peleteria varia is heading north and active now !
