Is it possible to tell genus and eventually spieces of this male?
Photo from 29 June 2018 Icktjärn 62 N, E 17 Ångermanland, Sweden.

Somehow wings look too long for Cheilosia, don't they?

Cell r5 is open, ruling out Syrphidae.

I thougt before posting that Stratiomydae could be an option.

The view of the wing venation isn't as clear as it could be but it looks like
Verrallia aucta.

It seems to be Verrallia aucta which I had several years ago , but did not remember
