Is it possible to tell spieces of this female Ablabesmyia?
Photo from 7 August 2018 Högmyrsjön 62 N, E 17 Ångermanland, Sweden.

I don't think there is any reliable way of separating female Ablabesmyia, using morphological means. According to Fittkau, phatta can be separated from monilis and longistyla using the numbers of antennal segments in the females, but he does not give characters for separating the females of the latter two species. And few photos will allow you to count antennal segments!:|

If you have collected a male specimen, we can tell which species it is by looking at the genitalia, but photos, even closer ones, are unlikely to help much.
