Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Striking Crane fly from Costa Rica for ID help.

I saw this Crane-fly in Sarapiqui , Costa Rica and haven't been able to find anything like it on the internet ,so far .Can anyone help with an ID please .

Not much is visible, yet among the regional species with entirely orange prescutum the best match seems to be Hexatoma (Eriocera) erythraea (Osten Sacken, 1886)
