Thread subject: Diptera.info :: unknown diptera -> Tolmerus cf. cingulatus

Hi, a few minutes ago I got this diptera on the inside of my window. Its about 12..14 mm in length.
Location Germany, Lower Saxony, Region Celle, ~ 40..50 m above ground, July 22nd 2018.
ID to or species possible, male or female? Many thanks, Norbert

I second Michael :), except that T. cowini can not be excluded.
