Hello,
I found this fly on 19.5.18 in our garden (Furth im Wald, Bavarian Forest, Germany).
Is it possible to say more oder do I have to be satisfied with Chironomidae spec.?

Tribe Chironomini. Recently emerged female. I think you'll find most of the red colour will disappear over the next day or so.

Might be a Chironomus (large frontal tubercles).
