Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Correct name of this Asilidae -member?

[Hi all,

new to this group I would like to know the exact name of this one.
Taken this morning in Montfort(Li).
It is about 5 cm in length.

This is called Machimus arthriticus in the NL.
