Hello,
After Megistocera longipennis posted in another thread, this one came to my house in Kourou (French Guiana, South America) and it looked almost beautiful with the three black marks on each side.
Please who could tell more than me about possible genus or species?

Three genera or subgenera with long beaks: Geranomyia, Toxorhina, and Elephantomyia. Each is in a different tribe of subfamily Limoniinae (sensu Alexander).

Ok, thanks. It really looks like a Geranomyia.

I've just catched one, so I will prepare it and possibly post more detailed photos.
