just to clarify: I really think that this is P. azurea but you only have one photo posted. A female P. azurea usually bears a greenish thorax and abdomen. However, the abdomen can appear to be blue in lateral view such as that depicted in your photo. I've attached a photo to illustrate my point. We can usually detect the greenish color through the hyaline wings. I think that i see a greenish color through the wings but it is not conclusive. I highly doubt this fly could be anything other than azurea. I am just bothered by the intensity of blue on the abdomen and the dark lower calypter. P. azurea can have infuscated calypters but this one seems dark. Have you strengthened the contrast of the photo?
